When it comes to scrapbooking, just about anything goes! One of my favorite ideas is using an empty compact disc case to make a CD mini album.
Rather than try to go through step by step how to make one, I found a video tutorial from Sarah at PinkCricut.com. The first five minutes of the video show how to put together the album. Here it is…
Here are the dimensions that you will want to cut your scrapbook paper:
- Front: 4-3/4″ x 4-3/4″
- Back: 5-15/16″ x 4-5/8″
- Inside Pages: One 12″ x 12″ sheet of card stock or paper cut into three 4″ strips
Score the back piece 1/4″ from the right and left sides. Sarah uses a clear adhesive tape (the brand that she recommends is Thermoweb) in each corner of the front and back sheets to hold them in place in the cd case.
The four inch strips for the inside pages of the album are scored every 4-1/2″, cutting off the excess. The video shows how to glue these together and then adhere to the interior of the mini album.
After everything is assembled, the fun begins. Embellish the cd mini album and add your pictures.
