Three-dimensional flowers are fun to use on scrapbooking layouts, handmade cards, and in place of bows on wrapped packages. You can buy 3D flowers at the store to use on your projects, but better yet, why not make your own from scrapbook paper scraps and other materials that you have laying around!
I recently came across a post by Helen Croft at Scrap A Little, and she had not one, not two, not five, but twenty (yes twenty!) different tutorials for handmade flowers. Of course, I bookmarked her page, but I also wanted to share them with you too!
The link to her post is below. She has pictures of each type of flower, and for any that you are interested in making, simply click on the picture to go to the related tutorial. Her tutorials are super simple to follow and loaded with step by step pictures.
Most of her handmade flowers are made using scrapbook paper and other small embellishments, such as buttons and brads, although there are some that are made from ribbon and other materials, such as colored pipe cleaners. Anyway, here is the link – enjoy!
