When I saw this handmade gift bag, I just knew that I had to add it to my idea file! I love how Sara (a/k/a “livelys”) use ribbon to create the stem and leaves for her flower. So clever, but so simple – what do you think? If you have a die cut machine, it would be super simple to make a large flower for the bag and then make a smaller flower for a coordinating card.
To create her gift bag, Sara used a template from Megan Turnbridge. I’m not exactly sure which one she used, but I did find this awesome freebie on Megan’s website: http://www.designsbymeganturnidge.com/blog/?p=1301. Of course, you can always modify a plain store bought bag too. Add a cute coordinating piece of cardstock as your base and then layer on the details.
