Hello Scraplifters! Today I have a free milk carton template that I want to share with you!
Don’t you love it when you can take an ordinary piece of card stock and make it into a special gift? That’s exactly what you can do with this freebie from Ruthann Zaroff of Mirkwood Designs…
First, here is the template: Free Milk Carton Template from Ruthann Zaroff
This template is used to make milk cartons with finished dimensions of 2.25″x 2.25″ x 4″. It’s in .gif format, which means that you can use your browser’s print function to print it directly onto a piece of card stock.
Ruthann does have specific printing instructions. Here they are:
Note: Please make sure your printing margins are set to .5 inches (half an inch) or the template will not print completely. In your browser’s Menu bar, select File > Page Setup, and change the margin settings to .5. (The selections may be slightly different between browsers.)
I would recommend printing on a plain white piece of card stock, and using this plain piece as a tracing template to cut our your colored cartons. Yup, no special die cutting equipment needed here – just a pencil, a good pair of scissors, and your adhesive.
Now that we are in September, Halloween will be here before you know it, so for a little scraplifting inspiration on how to use this free milk carton template, I found the adorable treat boxes displayed above from Paper Jewels. Here is the link to find out more about them…
