Yesterday, I did a quick post about a handmade Christmas tree card from MarthaStewart.com that I was thinking about scraplifting for this year’s mailing. Well, after I finished that post, I came across another one that I think I like even better, so I thought I would share it with you today!
This handmade Christmas tree card, which was designed by Susan Stringfellow at Creative Savvy, does not have a three-dimensional tree hidden inside. Instead, the focus is on the exterior of the card. However, like yesterday’s inspiration, it does use accordian-folded patterned paper strips. Susan used her glue gun to adhere the folded strips to her card base, which I think is a great idea to ensure that they stay in place!
The paper she used is absolutely beautiful, and it’s from one of my personal favorite brands – Die Cuts With A View. She used the Street Lace stack for this pretty greeting.
