Sometimes I wish someone else in my house was responsible for getting dinner on the table. After all, if I’m knee deep in scrapbook paper and glue, I don’t want to stop! My guess is that I’m not the only scraplifter with this problem, am I?
Anyway, when I came across this altered corkboard turned meal planner menu board, my jaw dropped! Isn’t it perfect? I want one! I also have a cousin who is getting married next month, and I’m thinking she might want one too – and between now and the end of this post, I will probably think of a few more people that would want it!
A few weeks ago, I came up with a list of 28 different meals that I could make. I was going to get organized once and for all. We were going to have a different home cooked meal every day of the month. Good intentions, but unfortunately, I have not followed through. (…ahem, I lost my list) But this – this is my answer!
I want to start on it right away. Think the family will mind if I order pizza tonight? LOL!
Charity at All Things Beautiful spent a grand total of $10.16 on this meal planner menu board. She was able to find the cork board for $1.49, and used paint, scrapbook paper, ribbon, and clips to embellish it. It’s absolutely gorgeous, don’t you think? Kudos to her for sharing this awesome idea!
