Are you looking for handmade Christmas card ideas? Unfortunately, I still am – I haven’t started on any of mine yet, and December is almost here! Anyway, I recently came across this 3D Christmas tree card in the “Crafts” section of MarthaStewart.com, and couldn’t help but add it to my idea file!
This card looks like it would be very easy to make, and the three-dimensional pop out Christmas tree offers a fun surprise to the lucky person who receives it!
The tree is made from strips of accordian-folded green card stock. The star is cut out using a punch, and the base of the tree is a small piece of brown card stock, that has also been folded to pop out. You will need a strong adhesive to secure the end folds in the base of the card, but other than that, it looks super simple to make! Now, to figure out what to put on the front of the card…
